Empathetic Design.

Empathy is looking at the world through different perspectives and creating a design that reflects other people’s history, values, and perceptions.

Ethical Design.

Designing products that consumers enjoy using and that will make their lives easier and happier without requiring them to spend too much time on them is important to me.

Collaborate.

Embracing teamwork as a core design principle is crucial, as collaboration fosters diverse perspectives, encourages innovation, and ensures the delivery of comprehensive and cohesive design solutions

Balance.

Humans adore beauty. For me, good design shares both function and form. Why not make it function perfectly whilst looking good too?

Minimise.

Carefully minimising too much can be more detrimental than good. Minimising the design without losing the core requirements can balance the product harmoniously.

Open Growth Mindset.

Research is not just looking for inspiration; rather, it is expanding knowledge to help facilitate better design. This could be studying people’s behaviour and the science behind it. Saying “I don’t know yet” is the best way to learn.
